VH Happenings:
Several students were cursed with the Seven Deadly Sins, and were forced to enact them in their everyday lives. The victims were either contacted by owl, or received a cursed item from an Imperioed Shopkeeper. This curse was contageous, and every original victim passed it on to first five people they ran into.
One notable victim Janus Sparhawk of Gryffindor (and future Head Boy,) performed a not-to-be-believed semi-strip tease on top of a table in the Great Hall, while singing "Iapos;m Too Sexy For My Shirt". His robes were promptly stolen by Melinda Miranda Snoddgrass of Hufflepuff (a future Prefect), who was also suffering from the curse. Luca Ferranti of Ravencaw proposed to Jemini Brinklebell of Gryffindor (another future Prefect) who stole his first kiss and then knocked him out when she realised he was under Lust. Gryffindor Ava Inone is cursed with Gluttony and found stuffing her face with food in the kitchens, whilst Prefect Whitney Lyons (who has Sloth) is found asleep in a tree.
On the Quidditch Pitch, future Falmouth Falcons player Amanda Overton of Slytherin intercepted the first pass of the game against Ravenclaw in her second ever match. This move (which she later repeated) had never been seen before since Hogwarts was rebuilt.
