Okay, now I�know itapos;s a bit early to be complaining. It really is, with it only being the 2nd day all. But yo...I�donapos;t like the pay concept. It JUST SO HAPPENS that when I�come ion-board, thereapos;s no work. Nobodyapos;s getting anything in. Itapos;s not just me, but still. If itapos;s hard for them to at least MATCH what I was making at Target, I�think thereapos;s a problem here. The potential is high, but everyone else has to mess up their computer somehow for us to have business.

This job isnapos;t official, and I�find myself still not really caring about this field. Itapos;s only fun IF I HAVE THE WORK TO DO. I�canapos;t learn shit from these guys. I�could, but only if thereapos;s business. Besides that, no one wants to constantly talk about it. Lord KNOWS that I donapos;t constantly want to.

They had to give me an in-house job just so I�can make SOME money. In short, one of their computers [they use it as a server (sort of) without actually having Win Server on it] had LOTS of stuff on it. I installed a new hard drive, cleaned the YEARS of dust from inside of it [oh my God, Iapos;ve never seen dust with a civilization D: ], and Walt� helped me to clone the original master drive to a NEW slave drive. So now the slave will become the new master and weapos;re installing a "new old" slave. Iapos;d have to go into detail, and I donapos;t want to right now.

But anyway, they had to give me that task just so I can get money. Just so I can have a job to do. Oh, I�forgot a little bit. After I�finish this virus scan [which might be running until tomorrow at the speed itapos;s going -- no bull], then he asked me to organize everything.

I�feel as though Iapos;m serving quite the purpose here.
Whoa, I just felt a sarcasm breeze.

Iapos;m glad Iapos;m still going to have SOME guaranteed money coming in each week. But thatapos;s sad. Seriously. Iapos;d be very embarassed if I were Scott. [one of the cofounders here].

Another thing that makes me feel 17x better than what I did yesterday is the fact that when I�walk in, Scott says "oh hey, itapos;s Pierre I forgot about ya. I�forgot about ya, dude."

I donapos;t care if you were joking or not, why the kcuf would you say something like that? You already know, hell you TOLD me, that my nerves are on edge because this place isnapos;t home to me yet. Itapos;s new, the work environment is WORK and I�need to get really comfortable so that it feels like home. So you would really say something like that - make me feel even better about my importance in this company.

Iapos;m going to wait it out, but in all honesty it seems like I�could do this job from home. They keep their guys in-store and I can log in see if there are any jobs available. If they need me, they can call me to do an off-site or some ish. But I�donapos;t need to be here. Hell, us five that ARE here are too much. Scott left to go somewhere. Walt and Manny are on the computer. One doing torrent downloads, the other actually working on someoneapos;s computer [because he messed up the final step has to get back to work]. But hell, he has six days to finish one step and heapos;s fiddling around in iTunes right now. And the last is in the kitchen/break room watching TV smoking. That kitchen REEKS of men. Damn, mop a floor or something yapos;all

I donapos;t know...I guess I�expected more.

We also have a sleep room. Yes, thereapos;s a room that used to be for meetings, but now has a floor bed in it. Specifically for passing out. And watching TV before you pass out.

Everytime this damn door beeps, itapos;s one of us coming back with a little snack or something. ONE customer came in, and it was to pick up his Mac tower. 2 minutes tops. Nothing else. Calls, ALL personal. Nothing business. Oh, wait. ONE business. Making a webpage. Most of us donapos;t do that. Scott took that one. I think.

I donapos;t know -- Walter wants to use the computer and heapos;s the only one I�WHOLLY respect because he seems interested in getting me some money keeping me on-track. So Iapos;ll get off for him.
